The Pitch Black DVD bonus feature “Raveworld: Pitch Black Event” is a project I was directly involved in the production. I worked as a cameraman at the promotional rave itself and was specifically responsible for capturing the B-roll footage used throughout the 20-minute webcast. Being on the floor with the crowd, documenting the atmosphere, movement, and energy of the event, gave me a firsthand role in shaping how the fusion of electronic music, rave culture, and Pitch Black visuals ultimately came across on screen.

The feature first appeared on the original 2000 DVD release and has continued to live on in later editions, including the 2004 re-release and the 2020 Arrow Video 4K Blu-ray—making it a small but lasting artifact of that moment when sci-fi film promotion and underground rave culture collided.
