Aaron Sonnenberg born in Bellflower and grew up in Southern California, starting in Sky Valley, before moving to Orange County in the 1980s. He attended Woodbridge High School, where he formed lasting friendships with musicians who shaped his career.In the 1990s, Aaron played bass in Smile (Atlantic/Headhunter Records), a grunge and psychedelic rock band that gained radio success with hits on KROQ and 91X and toured with bands like Everclear, Silverchair, and Deftones. Notable songs include "Staring at the Sun" from Maquee and "Instant Brain Damage" from their second album Girl Crushes Boy, produced by Mark Trombino (Blink-182, Jimmy Eat World). Before Smile, he was part of Headfirst, a metal-edge hardcore band that toured the U.S. and released a handful of vinyl records. Aaron also played with his musical family in Daughter Eve and The Hollybells, showcasing his musical versatility. He currently produces solo "dad rock" under the name intafaze.With 25 years of experience as a Freelance UI/UX Designer, Aaron specializes in web and mobile design, focusing on SEO-friendly sites, e-commerce, and mobile apps. Skilled in platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, and Shopify, he blends creativity with technical expertise. He holds a Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) certificate and an Associate Degree in General Art.
